How to compare dental treatment quotes in Hanoi

Last updated 6 November 2026 · By the Dentist in Hanoi editorial team

In short: a cheaper quote is only cheaper if it is for the same treatment. Put the quotes side by side and check five things: the diagnosis, the materials and brands, what is included, how many visits it takes, and the warranty.

1. Same diagnosis?

If one clinic proposes three crowns and another one filling, the difference is not the price but the diagnosis. Ask each clinic to show on the X-ray why a tooth needs treatment. When plans differ a lot, ask a third dentist.

2. Same materials and brands?

  • Implants: brand and product line (Korean systems and premium systems have very different prices).
  • Crowns: metal-ceramic, zirconia or glass ceramic, and which brand.
  • Braces: metal, ceramic, self-ligating or clear aligners, and which brand.

3. What is included?

Make a list per quote: consultation, X-rays and 3D scan, extraction, bone graft, abutment, temporary crown, final crown, check-ups, and any adjustment after fitting. One quote may include everything; another only the implant itself.

4. Visits and time

How many visits, over how many weeks or months? For visitors from abroad this can matter more than the price difference.

5. Warranty and follow-up

What does the warranty cover, for how long, and what if you live abroad? Do you get a warranty card with the implant or crown details?

6. Payment

When do you pay: everything up front, per phase, or after each step? Is the price in VND or USD, and is there a card surcharge?

A simple trick: copy each quote into the same table with the rows above. Missing information in one column is your question for that clinic.
